Jamea Al Kauthar Islamic College for girls was established in 1996. The School places emphasis on providing an environment that is conducive to learning whilst catering for a culturally and ethnically diverse student population from all corners of the globe. Students are challenged to pursue excellence in a family-like environment, and their welfare and progression is our highest priority. An extensive pastoral care system ensures that students are treated as important individuals. Jamea Al Kauthar team is constantly working hard to improve and provide state of the art facilities to deliver an excellent student experience. Jamea Al Kauthar is located in the heart of Lancaster, and consists of a Victorian four storey, grade II listed building (formerly Royal Albert Castle) which forms the boarding wings with extensive, safe and secure accommodation. The madrasah and school are situated in two separate buildings, and all three buildings are surrounded by 20.5 acres of beautiful natural grounds giving a serene setting to relax and enhance the mind and body. Aims and Objectives of Jamea Al Kauthar Providing opportunities for students to acquire an in-depth understanding of Deen. Developing the love for Allah and his Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Instilling religious and moral values, tolerance of other races and religions. Producing individuals who have the capacity to think for themselves, to know their own minds but to have the flexibility to listen to others. Encouraging all pupils to appreciate the needs of others and be sensitive to them, to work in teams and be able to recognize right from wrong. Encourage students to respect and abide by the rule of law and be an exemplary citizen.
