JAED

JAED, (pronounced as “jade”) was created by me, the designer: Jennifer Ann Easton. I have always had a real fascination with clothes, fashions and personal styles and from the age I was able to put pencil to paper, I have been sketching all my ideas down.

Art was a favourite subject of mine throughout school and from there I took it to the next stage which for me was going on to study Clothing Design and Manufacture at the Scottish Borders School of Textiles – Heriot Watt. Throughout my course at University I learnt to put my creative skills to good use by designing in a range of areas such as Sportswear, Outdoor Clothing, High-end womenswear and Menswear.
Since Graduating in 2008, I have been involved in many different areas of the fashion industry throughout the UK such as merchandising, retail and buying and keep coming to the same conclusion…..designing is the route for me!

JAED, is about having the chance to turn the sketch into a garment and a dream into reality so all the garments you see in the pictures have been designed and hand-made by me personally.
The bonus to my job is when people have as much enjoyment wearing my clothes as I have making them!
