I am Cooper McShane, passionate photographer, polarizing Aquarian and here to make you look good!

With a foundation in graphic design, editing, and a background in performance art, theater and fashion, I have spent the last 8 years refining my craft as a photographer, developing and integrating new skills, understanding new methods and creating new visual concepts, becoming more diverse and well rounded as a photographer over time.

What I can offer you is this; a professional, informal service, custom to your needs. I work towards making images that both I and the client are proud of, paying attention to detail along the way. Shooting with me has often been described as having a conversation with a new friend; my clients are made comfortable and guided positively through all shoots, whether experienced or not.

I offer full model/shoot direction, creative direction, and a range of services to enhance the finished results of any shoot; full retouching, photo-manipulation, colour/exposure correction.

What I absolutely love about photography is taking a moment in time and creating beauty out of it. Taking ideas and vision and thoughts, and making an image that demands attention, draws the onlooker in. Having people see themselves at their best, in a light they never thought possible; that is my job, and so rewarding!

I have never had a disappointed client yet, and never plan to!

If you want to work with a photographer with a genuine, widespread passion in what he does, who is invested in making his subjects beautiful in the way they choose to be, then I might just be that guy!

I have a brand new, fully equipped, purpose-built studio, although I am perfectly capable of working on location or outdoors with natural light. I shoot using a Canon 6D with full frame sensor and various lenses depending on the needs of the shoot.

Also, I am experienced working with all types of people! Experienced models, anxious teenagers, newborns, even animals!
