Inspiration Works

Inspiration Works is a creative space run by Off the Record (Bristol) for young people in Bristol and South Glos.

Inspiration Works will hold a range of activities, which will be therapeutic as well as events like creative workshops.

Inspiration Works wants to pilot a community development approach to mental health that can support a wide range of young people.

Inspiration Works hopes to address the times young people have to wait for support and therefore will run regular creative drop in sessions where you can speak to someone without a waiting list.

Inspiration Works hopes to offer a wide range of creative options running throughout the week for young people which could have therapeutic benefits to the individual.

Inspiration Works will offer a safe, creative, positive, progressive space where young people feel valued, held in mind, able to contribute and explore.

An important part of this project is to develop creative careers in young people.

Inspiration works hopes to tackle isolation, build sustainable and sustaining friendship groups and encourage links to other "creatives".

Inspiration works will offer training opportunities for volunteers, encouraging participation from young people, and links to creative organisations in Bristol.

It is the hope of Inspiration Works to eventually become self sustaining.
