We are based just off the Inkerman Park, named after the Battle of Inkerman. Lieutenant General the Earl of Raglan commanded the British Army of 8,500 men and 38 guns; General Canrobert commanded the French Army of 7,500 men and 18 guns. Confronting them was Prince Menshikov commanding the Russian Army of 42,000 men and 134 guns.
Despite those insurmountable odds, Lord Raglan was victorious. We at Inkerman Ales hope that we may be equally successful against the vast numbers of brewers in Derbyshire and beyond.
