Hylands Artist Studios

The Essex Artists' Studios are a group of talented Essex artists' producing quality artwork in a variety of mediums and Styles from Painting, Jewellery, Glass, Photography arts and Crafts and much more besides.

The Essex Artists all operate as independent Artists who aim to promote and generate interest in the arts in Essex as well as raise the profile of the artist at Hylands House through our Facebook Page

Each of the Half Dozen Artists Based at the Stables Visitor Centre rent studio space directly from Chelmsford Borough Council. The artists studios which are Situated in the historic courtyard of the Stables Centre at Hylands Park in the city of Chelmsford, Essex offers a variety of amenities and opportunities to emerging Essex artist such as studio and exhibition space along with the marketing and promotion aspects that Hylands Park and Chelmsford Borough Council offer.

These Regular Art Exhibitions organised and run by the Artists at the Essex Artists Studios and will include work from all the Resident Artists as well as Quality Artwork in all Media from Invited Local Essex Artist that will add interest and help Essex Artists get well deserved Exposure by providing solo and group shows for emerging Essex Artists.

Information For Exhibitors.
The regular art exhibitions are planed to take place on the first or second weekend of each month which can be promoted through not just this Facebook page but also through Chelmsford Borough Council and Hylands House web-stes and publications all of which means a potential of thousands of individuals across Essex will be exposed to the events taking place.

If you wish to be considered as an Exhibitor at Hylands House please feel free to contact us, we are Looking for quality work to put on show and the selection panel will happily consider all types of artwork in a variety of media that will enhance the profile of the arts in Essex as a whole.

Local Essex Artist who wish to Exhibit Artwork be that at our regular art exhibitions or the annual Art in the Park Event must have 5 million public liability insurance and all sales made during the regular exhibition will go through the Visitors Centre Shop { 20% commission } which can handle Credit Card payments, Cash or Cheques so don't forget to add 20% to your prices to cover the commission charged by Chelmsford Borough Council.
