Young entrepreneurs – book a stall

The Alternative Market is an opportunity for young people (13-29) to try out a trading experience at a festival market. You can take part whether you already have some experience or have never considered it but would like to have a go.

What kind of stall could I run?
Arts, Books, Crafts and Stationary, Fashion, Food and Drink, Games, Illustration and Design, Jewellery, Memorabilia, Photography, Records, Toiletries, Toys, Vintage /retro
Other – use your imagination!

How much are stalls?

Performers – book a slot

The Alternative Market also provides an opportunity for local performers and community groups to showcase their unique skills and talents to a local audience on stage.
This could be:
Comedy, Dance, Drama, Music.....


Demonstration/Workshop runners

Would you like to do a demonstration or run a workshop?

You could run a workshop encouraging people to be creative whilst at the same time promoting your own products. We will cover the cost of the resources that members of the public use. If you don’t have all the equipment, get in touch because we might already have it.
