More about Hot House Yoga

Hot yoga is universally recognised as an excellent way to sweat out toxins from your body while performing the stretches and poses associated with yoga, suitable for both beginners as well as experienced followers.

The sequence of postures was scientifically designed to systematically and progressively work every muscle, ligament, tendon and joint, moving fresh oxygenated blood around 100% of the body, into each and every organ and fibre, restoring all systems. Every posture prepares you for the next, and each proceeding posture gains from the previous one, resulting in incredible benefits that include improved posture, muscle & joint mobility, concentration, increased energy, and overall rejuvenation.

As well at the standard hot yoga sequence we now offering a wide variety of classes.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Hot Yoga – This is a static yoga sequence where each posture is designed to get your body ready for the next posture. The majority of the standing postures are practiced twice in order to give you the opportunity to go deeper into the posture on the second set.

Hot + Yoga – Very similar to the Hot sequence with a few more advanced postures added in to challenge your regular practice and keep you on your toes.

Flow Yoga – This class involves sun salutations (Vinyasa) into postures. The movement is synchronised with breath and smooth flowing postures which flow into each other.

Dynamic Flow Yoga – Similar to the standard flow class with more of a cardio workout included.

Yin Yoga – All postures are practiced on the floor, there are no standing postures. Postures are held for an extended length of time – typically 3-5 minutes to allow deep stretching into the connective tissue surrounding the muscles. Emphasis is on opening the hips. Practiced with soothing music and candles.
