In the eventuality that the English weather holds you can escape from the bar to the garden and decking to enjoy the sun followed by an evening under the stars wrapped against the cold in one of our fleece-blankets.
In the kitchen head chef Darron prepares fresh produce, sourced locally whenever possible and available seven days a week. Food is served in the snug and the dining room – and outside – by Sarah and her team.
Renovated early in 2007, the Horse & Jockey has evolved but remains central to the village community. Darron and Sarah hope that you will call in and help shape the continuing history of this country pub.
