Home Enhancement is a family run partnership, which specialises in installing Kitchens. Established early in 1997 we are based close to the City of Chester. Our area of coverage is about a 20 mile radius of Chester.

The knowledge and many skills learnt during 30 years of working within the construction and electrical industries have enabled us to offer our customers the benefits of a total service from the initial design through to full installation, inclusive of all ancillary works such as electric, gas, plumbing, tiling, flooring etc. Or, if you prefer, we can supply you with the labour only to install your own purchases.

We take great pride in our professionalism, enthusiasm and on-site cleanliness and our aim is to always achieve total customer satisfaction. All work is carried out by our own experienced craftsmen and is insured and guaranteed.

Throughout our many years of installing both flat-pack and pre-assembled kitchen units, we have gained the knowledge and experience to enable us to install your kitchen competitively and professionally, be it purchased from a main line supplier such as Wickes, B&Q, Magnet, Wren etc. or obtained locally from a bespoke manufacturer.

Or, should you wish, we can offer you a made to measure kitchen from the extensive Benchmarx or Howdens ranges. With their excellent reputations for producing well-designed, high quality kitchens direct to the building trade we have access to both the Benchmarx and Howdens catalogues at highly competitive prices.

As we are not committed to any one supplier we are happy to assist you in choosing the best Kitchen design to suit your budget and style. Whilst offering you the practical advice in planning your proposed layout we always pay particular attention to the finer detail, which gives your finished kitchen that professional touch.

Our Kitchen fitters are highly skilled and motivated with the emphasis on cleanliness and safety. We respect your home, take great care when moving personal items and always clean up at the end of each day. All rubbish is then cleared upon completion of the installation.

We carry £2m public liability insurance and offer a two-year workmanship guarantee.

Our Kitchen Services include any or all of the following; -

Assistance with your planning and design.
Advice on types of units and appliances.
Removal & disposal of your existing kitchen units and appliances.
Removal of existing floor and wall finishes.
Alterations to gas services. (By Gas Safe registered installers)
Alterations to water services.
Alterations to electrical circuits. (By Part P NICEIC registered installers) (In compliance with the latest IEE Regulations)
Installation of ceiling downlights.
Installation of in-cabinet, under-cabinet and plinth lighting.
Assembly and installation of the new kitchen units.
Installation of new appliances.
Ducting of extractors and dryers.
Fitting worktops, breakfast bars and upstands in either laminate, hardwood or solid surface. (Inclusive of Butt & Scribe joints)
Fitting cornice and pelmet trims.
Tiling to walls.
Tiling or laminating floors.

We can also undertake;-

Re-locating or replacing radiators.
Removal of internal walls including steelwork where needed.
Plastering either patching or whole room.
Replacement consumer units. (Inclusive of full test and certification)
The process would usually take the following course: -

Upon receipt of your enquiry, a mutually suitable date and time would be agreed for one of our kitchen specialists to visit your home for a free, no obligation discussion on the concept you wish your new kitchen to take, whether it be from an existing plan or just thoughts in your head.

Whilst there, we will survey the existing kitchen and offer expert advice and practical solutions to any concerns you may have regarding any part of the project.

We will coordinate your new design or work with an existing plan.

Once your kitchen design is complete, we will provide you with a total installation price, inclusive of all ancillary works, then agree a start date and timescale.

We will contact you prior to the start date to arrange access to the property and to finalise any special details.

On the day the fit is to start, our qualified fitters will arrive at your home and carry out your installation in an efficient and professional manner with the minimum of disturbance and inconvenience.

The working area will be kept clean at the end of each day and all rubbish will be removed from the site upon completion, including the old kitchen.

When the installation is completed an invoice will be submitted and a two-year workmanship guarantee issued upon receipt of full payment.
