A tranquil but well equipped town only 10 mins drive to the stunning Costa Tropical beaches or an hour to amazing Granada and the un-miss-able MUST BE SEEN Alhambra.
An hours’ drive through the Lecrin Valley will take to the Sierra Nevada's Ski Resort or a short 10 minute drive to the amazing beaches at Salobrena or Motril. Additionally, Motril’s Golf Course ‘Los Moriscos Golf de Club is alo very close by. With stunning scenery that allows views of snow-capped mountains one way and views of the inviting blue Mediterranean the other.
There are loads to do for all; sporty types can ski (season permitting), walk, mountain bike, horse ride & climb, scuba dive and kite surf. For those that prefer to relax, can do by the one of the pools or on the closet beach Salobrena (10 mins drive) which in itself is a beautiful town with white washed houses on the hill side. Close by is Motril a slighter bigger town offering (10 Min's by car), offers all amenities expected from a large town with excellent dining and nightlife, it also has a beach. For those with families (apart from the family friendly local beaches and pool), there is also a water park in nearby Almunecar (30 mins drive). The area has an abundance of local eateries ranging from fine dining, traditional restaurants, rustic tapas bars and beach front cafes. Not to mention near by Neja and Friglina shoppers paradise.

Velez de Benaudalla, originally a Moorish village has many remains, the Old Town has the typical narrow streets and charming village houses reflecting the past. The Nazari dynasty ruled the province of Granada for nearly 4 centuries and left behind a legacy of knowledge, gastronomy and according to legend, great treasures that are still to be discovered.
