More about The Stylish Stone House in Batheaston / Bath, built XVII century

Gorgeous, historical house harmoniously blending contemporary and antique - providing mod cons and old splendour. The gardens are established yet refreshing, the village is picturesque and the wonders of the city of Bath are minutes away.

Our delightful Stone House was built in 1600 but has been brought up to contemporary standards with a modern kitchen and 2 bathrooms, one en suite, although there are many details which show the house's 400 years!

There is an open plan living room with a log fire and we provide a basket of logs and kindling for our guests.
On the 1st floor, there is one large room with twin beds adjacent to the large bathroom.
On the top floor, there is one king room with en suite shower and wc and one double bedroom.
All the bedroom windows have far reaching views across stunning countryside.
Finally, there is a mezzanine room which we call the Zen Room as it is sparsely furnished and has wonderful light rays entering from its skylight windows.

The house has been styled using some stunning and valuable antique furnishings along side leading edge, modern sofa, chairs and other accessories. The walls are filled with original artworks ranging from creative art photography, to antique paintings and prints.

Outside, we have a paved patio area, table and chairs for alfresco dining, a turfed area for sunbathing and lounging and an organic vegetable garden with beetroot, tomatoes, rocket and many other salad leaves which we provide for our guests.

There is a shed for your bicycles if you bring them!

If you wish to bring a pet with you, please let us know prior to your booking so we can discuss the rules.
