HMR Paediatric Nurse Practitioners

The Paediatric Nurse Practitioner Service works in collaboration with GP’s and other health professionals, with the intention of deflecting children who live within the borough of Heywood Middleton and Rochdale from hospital/emergency services in appropriate circumstances.

The service aims to provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and a referral to the appropriate service if required.

Anyone can refer following a discussion with the nurse practitioner based within the Children's Acute and Ongoing Needs Service.

The Facebook page will be used to provide health education/promotion via information to the local community of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
