-Began training as a Sports Therapist in 2013 by gaining a VTCT Level 3 qualification in Sports Massage.
-Moved onto a Foundation Degree degree in Sports Therapy with York College and York St John University, which I completed with a first in 2016.
- Stayed on to complete my full BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy which I am due to finish at the end of May 2017.
-Throughout my degree I have had the opportunity to work in a range of sports; with players at Goole AFC and Scarborough, dancers at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, runners at the Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon.
-In the meantime I have continuously treated clients both in York College's sports therapy clinic and privately in my own time.
-Sports therapy can benefit a great range of people, it's not just for athletes. My skill set includes; postural assessment, maintenance massage, deep tissue therapy, injury prevention, joint mobilisations and exercise rehabilitation.
