Hillhead Pre5s Parent & Families Group

We are a drop in centre for children from birth to 5 years of age. We are a Term Time Facility and our opening days coincide with East Dunbartonshire School Holidays. We offer a safe, secure, fun environment for the children to play and mix with other little ones. It also gives parents; grandparents, carers etc a chance for some adult company ... We all need that little bit of time out & support now & again.

We are funded by East Dunbartonshire Council & receive an annual grant from Early Years which enables us to employ 1 Full Time Staff Member (20 hours) & 2 Part Time Staff Members (10 hours) per week. This is what makes us different to most other playgroups within East Dunbartonshire. Our staff are employed Tuesday to Friday. We are Committee/Parent run on a Monday.

We have been running for almost 33 years and are a very well used facility... We have over 75 children on our register at present.....We aren't just a "facility" we are a "family" ......
