Hendersons of York

Hendersons is a modern, 3 bedroom luxury town house set over 3 floors. It is perfect for the family or friends group who want to be close to the centre of York. Business travellers would also find it suitable for an extended stay in the area.
There are 3 bedrooms. On the top floor there is a master bedroom with superking bed and ensuite (Mira shower, bath, wc and basin). On the first floor there is a double bedroom with twin beds, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. Complimentary toiletries are supplied to both bathrooms. A cot, high chair and 2 stairgates are available for younger guests.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. All cleaning materials including washing up liquid are supplied. A starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk is provided.
The main lounge has a communal seating area, HD television with DVD player and ROKU media device . The enclosed courtyard garden is reached from the lounge through French doors- there is a gas barbecue, table and chairs and rotary clothes airer.
A free allocated parking space is located outside the front door. There is free wi-fi throughout the property, a communal fire detection system and internal intruder alarm.
The property is only a 10 minute walk from the city centre in a quiet, residential area. It was totally unaffected by the recent floods.
The iconic National Railway Museum (Flying Scotsman!) is on the doorstep and York Railway Station is only a 5 minute walk away. A Hertz car hire depot is located nearby. For younger guests there is a road train which runs from the Railway Museum to the Minster during summer months.
York offers everything a traveller could wish for- a history dating back to Roman times, some of the best shopping outside of London, a huge range of cafes and restaurants and a vibrant night life to rival any European city.
