Helen’s career as a nail technician began 16 years ago and it was in 2004 that ‘Helen’s Nails’ was born with the ethos of offering a passionate, confident and caring approach to nails!
Helen’s infectious personality is just one of her traits as she showcases many abilities, but her warming way with her clients means she has an excellent client to technician rapport.
Developing her CPD (Continuing Professional Development) log involved further training. Gaining formal qualifications, including an Assessors Award for SQA helped Helen achieve her next ambition – teaching!
Diversifying to teaching lead to an opportunity to lecture at her local college. Helen wanted nothing more to pass on her experience, knowledge, passion and skill onto the next generation of nail enthusiasts.
Helen loved her 5 years lecturing, but now she focuses on running her nail and tutoring business in the very picturesque South West Scotland.
Helen loves her work and is highly proud of herself for all that she has achieved and can’t help but wonder what could be next!
