Hi, I’m Helen Henry Complementary therapist and Reiki master. I have been practising Reiki healing for 10 years and hold an HNC in Complementary therapies. I am qualified in the following:

Complementary therapy has always interested me.

After suffering for years with panic attacks, anxiety and lower back pain. I decided to try reiki healing. Not only did I feel instantly calm as I fell into a deep state of relaxation, the relief from the pain was amazing! I was cured after only a couple of sessions. I was so elated by the results. I then decided I would like to be able to share this gift with others so I decided to train and learn about this fascinating practise. This treatment not only helps with physical problems by alleviating pain, but helps with mental and emotional issues often scarring the body from the past. Reiki allows stagnant negative energy to be dispersed allowing the body to re-energise as positive energy is poured into the recipient. It is very rewarding to see my clients at the end of the session as they appear so relaxed, happy and contented.

I also used to practise reiki everyday on my bearded collie 'Sunny'. He developed arthritis when he was only two years old. His prognosis was not good after being referred to a specialist, he told me to see how the following year would go. However, my dog lived until he was 9 and really defied all the odds. I really believe this healing energy helped him. He loved having his daily sessions of reiki and used to fall instantly into a deep sleep often snoring very loudly!
