I was lucky as a child, growing up surrounded by my funny botany & nature loving aunties, a quiet wood carving uncle, green fingered grampy with his allotment and a thrift led and gifted nanny, combined with hardworking parents all teaching me the first secrets of life from knitting, crafts to foraging and passing on to me a huge love for nature. For this I am so grateful.

How did it all start?
After having my little boy (Sunny - my little hero) I started making my own baby balms and oils. I then became interested in learning the healing properties of our good old British hedgerows, flora and herbs. I am hugely inspired by Edward Bach.

I dream of growing my own organic herbs and living of the earth and building a beautiful cob house home for me and my son. I will do my best to make sure this happens.

So back to the story...
I began making balms and my secret recipe seed bombs (that's another product you may see - but not yet!) for all my family. Then for my close friends. The response has been amazing. Then Hedgerow Organics was born. Since then I refined my recipes and defined my ethos and got planting my herbs ready for picking that summer. We had lots of fun collecting our rewards in blooms. I now purchase Certified Organic herbs so my balm is 100% Organic.

After the amazing feedback I received from others and the trust I have in my wonderful healing balm, I decided to take it a step further. Making it available to others that maybe do not have the time or want to make their own balm but appreciate the 100% truly organic and beneficial properties in unrefined products. With interest from all over I decided to make the business a bit more official so in 2013 Hedgerow Organics was born.

I believe in keeping things as simple and as unprocessed as possible whilst including cold infusions of magical herbs. Instead of diluting the healing properties with too many herbs, I chose the ones I most frequently use for remedies on skin. From this I created my first balm. After some learning and tweaks I found my perfect mixture. Which gets great results and helps me and my family everyday.

I use only 100% Soil association certified beeswax (which has to come from the outside the UK) this is the only supplier of 100% Soil Association certified beeswax. I invest in only the purest and highest quality raw ingredients I can. This ensures my balm retains and contains as much of the benefits that other balms loose in all the processing and refining.

FACT:
One Bee visits over 2 million flowers to produce the beeswax used in my balm. Wow little Bees and the wonders of our Mother Nature.

Whilst I only use mild but effective doses of dried plant infusions and essential oils, it is advised to avoid use during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. Not for use on children up to 2 yrs.
