Hayward House City Hospital Nottingham

Hayward House is a specialist palliative care unit in the grounds of the City Hospital. It provides high quality care centred on the needs of patients and their families. Its aim is to enrich the quality of life through the skills of an experienced and caring team.

Hayward House offers palliative care from diagnosis, through the interim periods of advancing disease, up to and including end of life care. Patients’ pain and other symptoms are addressed; so too are emotional, spiritual and social problems of both patients and their families. A bereavement/counselling service is also provided.
