Havering and District Amateur Radio Club

We meet each Wednesday (7.30 pm) at Fairkytes Art Centre, Hornchurch. Fairkytes is located opposite the Queen’s theatre. Feel free to come along and say hi! We are located on the first floor.

The Havering DARC was founded in 1965 by the now long standing treasurer Oliver Tillett. Since then we have operated the Callsign G4HRC and G8HRC to name a few of our many callsigns. In just a short time the Havering DARC grew in strength and members until the members demanded that the club meet more frequently and thus the fortnightly meetings become weekly. Since those early days Oliver has steered the good ship HDARC in to the 21st century and now its presence in known on the Internet in the form of digital media.
