Havelock Walk is a mews at the heart of Forest Hill, containing some of the oldest local buildings in the area. Situated off what was once the Croydon Canal, it is now home to a multitude of creative practitoners working in the many and varied fields of the Visual Arts.
Established some 15 years ago by the internationally renowned sculptor, Jeff Lowe, Havelock Walk has blossomed into a creative live/work hub and now houses many artists producing works in the various media of painting, photography, sculpture, installation, printmaking, glassworks and ceramics. It is also home to a theatre and music school.
These artists share a rich sense of community and a desire to live and work immersed in creative practice. Some are already well established and represented, others just emerging, but all artists show recent and original work.
