Harbour of Rye

Rye Harbour is a unique asset for the Environment Agency being the only harbour in the country that we manage and operate.
Rye Port is a fully operational commercial harbour with a large fishing and leisure fleet.

James and Karl are responsible for regulating the vessels in the harbour, maintaining the moorings and piloting larger vessels as they enter. The team are accompanied by Toby the Dog, a happy and well fed spaniel who loves visitors.
