Learn for fun!

Music has to be one of the greatest pastimes. So many people come to me to learn guitar because they love music and want to express this in some way. Whatever your age or ability It is absolutely fine to learn for fun and I can still work in all the key skills and knowledge you will need.

Some of my fastest progressing students have been the ones who are under no pressure and are learning their favourite music.

Grade Examinations.

For the right students the benefits of taking grade exams are undeniable. Working through a set curriculum that will push your playing in directions you may not seek out yourself does wonders for anyones musicianship. I have helped countless students to study and pass their grade exams. From your initial grade right up to grade 8, I can break things down and bring your playing up to the required standard.

There are some great exam boards out there offering fun enriching courses that we can work on together. I tend to coach students through Rockschool or Trinity Pop and Rock curriculums as they offer an unrivalled balance of fun and academic knowledge.

Lessons tailored just for you.

During my 11 years teaching I have built up a huge repertoire of teaching material and I have transcribed in excess of 1000 songs. I am still adding to my portfolio every week, which means even beginners and young children can learn essential skills through the latest songs they have heard on radio, television and film. There is nothing worse than ruining someones enthusiasm for a musical instrument by teaching them music they don't enjoy.
