Groundwork Kent and Medway

Groundwork South are an environmental charity that have been working in Kent and Medway for over 30 years to make positive changes both in their lives and local areas.

Current projects that we are working on include:
Green Team-Working with young people to complete a qualification in horticulture/ undertake green areas and gardens clearance and upkeep.

Green Doctors-Offering free impartial home visits for residents giving advice on how to save on energy and money in their homes.

Green Education- Working with primary and secondary school children to educate them on local sustainability issues such as; climate change, wildlife, renewable and non renewable energy sources, promoting energy saving measures and behaviours and carbon footprints.

Landscape Architect work- producing landscape management plans with advice and application support for planning permissions, and involving local people in the design process.
