Groundlings Theatre represents both the past and present of Portsmouth culture. We are a platform for community arts to thrive and mature, for new and old talent, and for voices of all ages to be heard and appreciated.

Offering audiences new experiences such as dinner theatre, innovative drama and interactive performances within a building rich in history. With over 100 students in the Groundlings Theatre company, and classes covering dancing, singing and acting Groundlings is a centre of creative excellence. Performing in award-winning shows across the theatre season.

Our unique venue is available for hire at low prices and can be tailored to accommodate your requirements as well as providing a beautiful setting for weddings, birthdays, party hire or out-of-house productions.
