Grade 9 tuition

Grade 9 tuition was established on the 29th of May 2016 with the sole aim and/or purpose of providing quality education to all individuals between the ages of 11 to 16 years of age.
It was initially set up as a result of one-to-one tuition classes, which resulted in extremely high levels of progress at GCSE English. This resulted in a high level of demand for tuition and thus the page was set up.
The English teacher that delivers the tuition is highly qualified and has been teaching English at both KS3 and KS4 for 4 years.
Her experience has enabled her to understand and deliver the curriculum and understand why progress is or is not being made.
The tuition classes are kept small (no more than 5 children at a time) in order to enable her to tailor the lesson to the individual child's needs.
Whether a child is a kinetic, visual or auditory learner is considered and the lesson and learning is adapted to your child's needs.
The teacher can also guarantee progress, as she has a track record of taking students who have been predicted an E at GCSE to a grade C at GCSE.
Furthermore, the new GCSE grading system by which all new GCSE's will be graded by will be explained to both students and parents so that they understand how they can excel.
In the English lessons, students will learn how to develop skills such as reading and writing. The latter includes writing to argue, persuade, advise, entertain and inform. In addition to this, students will learn grammatical skills that can be applied across the curriculum, including skills related to spelling and punctuation (SPAG).
In reading, students will learn how to comprehend texts needed at GCSE and expand vocabulary, amongst other skills.
The teachers' aim is to make lessons simultaneously exciting and informative.
