Located on the shores of Lake Ullswater in the UNESCO world heritage lake district national park. A Georgian lakeshore villa set in what must be one of the most spectacular locations in England. This Georgian house built in the Regency period by Rev Askew is reminisent of an Italian lakes villa, after a seven year restoration it is available for exclusive low key lakeshore weddings, aniversaries, conferences and Boutique Bed and Breakfast. Available from Summer 2012. Charles Darwin and his family chose Glenridding House to stay for a five week vacation in June-July 1881. This is clearly a very special house set a few yards from lake Ullswater in Englands most breathtaking scenery.
