George Marshall Medical Museum

The Museum is home to a fascinating collection of artefacts which illustrate the way that medicine and health care have developed over the past 250 years. There is plenty to see in the Museum, including our collection of death masks, a reconstructed apothecary's shop and a 19th century operating theatre. We also hold a fascinating collection of medical books, photographs and oral histories.

Admission to the Museum is free. We are open Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm except Bank Holidays. We are located within the Charles Hastings Education Centre on the Worcestershire Royal Hospital site. If you're interested in a guided tour of the Museum, we provide these along with workshops and object handling sessions for pre-booked groups both within and outside of these hours for a small fee. We are happy to open during the evenings and at weekends for pre-booked groups.

We provide tours and workshops at the Museum and we also have a number of tried and tested loans boxes for your class.
