I have been building a career in horticulture and have combined practical experience with continual study over the last four years.
After two years volunteering at RHS Garden Rosemoor I was accepted onto their one year Certificate in Practical Horticulture course.
RHS Certificate in Practical Horticulture - Distinction.
Then I was accepted onto the three year Professional Gardener’s Guild Traineeship. This entailed working for one year each in three different major gardens.
Year 1 – Osborne House Isle of Wight.
Year 2 – Savill and Valley Gardens on the Windsor Great Park.
Year 3 – Highgrove Gardens the private house and garden of HRH The Prince of Wales.
Professional Gardener’s Guild Diploma in Heritage Gardening – Distinction.
The Profile picture is of my finished annual bed project in year one which I entirely designed, propagated, cultivated and tended in one season. I started the plot which was for public view in October 2012 and left in full bloom at the end of August 2013.
I now wish to live and work in this area and am happy to work in any size garden and on any horticultural/gardening projects large or small.
