Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. It combines boxing and exercise with great fun, and is a stress busting activity to suit everyone who wants to enjoy boxing training without getting hit. A typical class will involve shadowboxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttleruns and situps. As well as getting you fitter, it is great for improving hand eye co-ordination, balance and timing.
Boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness standards. As no class involves the physical hitting of an opponent, it is a fun, challenging and safe workout. All you need to bring with you is comfortable workout clothes, trainers and a bottle of water.
