John and Susan welcome you to Fresh where between us we have more than 40 years in the Catering and Hospitality Industry. Susan is from the North West of England and John is Cornish with Family residing in Newquay for generations.
We are open from 09.00hrs till late with the last food orders taken between 21.30 and 22.00hrs depending on Season. Whatever time of day you visit Fresh you will find our Menu has something to offer, we also cater for both Coeliac and Vegetarian Diets, Lactose Free meals can be made on request. All our products are sourced locally where ever possible and the fish bought in daily.
We have facilities for Disabled Diners along with a Baby changing room and high chairs we also offer a full children’s Menu. Parking on site is available on request.
Susan brings with her a resume of extreme excellence and experience, which shows in the modern and varied menu that we have created for Fresh.
Having initially trained in the Accrington and Rossendale Catering College, she then went on to work on the Fylde Coast of Blackpool and Lytham St Annes. She started her career working as a Pastry chef in the only 4* hotel in Lytham St Annes, but it wasn’t long before she had climbed the ladder to take on the role as the Hotels Head Chef. During the time at this hotel she catered for HRH Prince Andrew and the Presiding British Government, along with Film and Television stars.
The Hotel also catered for Gala Dinners along with Banquets for over 400 covers, the same diligence from Susan was given to the larger Dinners as was placed on the Individual customer.
After leaving the Hotel she went on to be the Catering Manager at Ribby Hall Holiday Complex and then onto the Restaurant within Stringers Department Store where She and her team picked up an award from the Sunday Times Good Food Guide.
Before her move to Newquay she successfully ran her own Restaurant and Speciality Bakery in Lytham St Annes where she created Celebration Cakes for any occasion and Corporate Cakes along with up to 5 tier Wedding Cakes. Some of these can be seen in the photographs and any orders can be placed with us either by Phone, email or in the Restaurant in person.
