Fountains Tea Room

An authentic and lovely tea room set in the heart of a lively & bustling town. A town famous for its seaside resort and for hosting the TV series Gavin & Stacey and Being Human. The town of Barry is also famous worldwide for its heritage as the largest coal export port in the world, as well as many sites of historical and cultural interest.

The tearoom itself is situated at the top of a flight of shallow stairs, and overlooks the town square itself. There is also outside seating outside on the ground level with shade and ample opportunity to watch the goings on of a sociable and popular town.

The tea room caters for all tastes and ages, and the proprietor has a good and varied selection of authentic tea room cakes and scones and a host of other dishes available, from freshly made sandwiches through to hot and cold traditional plated foods.
