Built by the Earl of Lonsdale as his stately Victorian retreat, Forest Side Hotel is surrounded by 40 acres of private wooded grounds from fields to forests with waterfalls, frozen lakes and magnificent views to Helm Crag, Silver How and Loughrigg Terrace.
