Art classes for children in Folkestone

At 'Art with Ali', I help children and grown-ups grow in both confidence and ability in their drawing and painting.

With observation of the world around us as a starting point for all our projects, I teach the traditional skills that are the bedrock of art practice, while encouraging my students to recognise that the secret to the very best work lies in embracing our own natural style and unique way of seeing. We experiment with a variety of materials and approaches, drawing inspiration from famous artists and their works along the way.

There is maximum of 4 per grown-up's group, and 6 per children's group so everyone benefits from a great deal of one-to-one attention and guidance.
