Fife Wood Recycling is now my part time hobby which I look to turn into a full time business.

My name is John Harkins and I started Fife Wood Recycling over a year ago and as you can see not much has happened.

I started out with the best intentions and full of optimism, I wanted to start up a Social Enterprise, but as usual bureaucracy and politics saw an end to that, but not after some sleepless nights and long days jumping through their hoops going nowhere other than to an early grave, so no more, I am doing it solo from my back garden and lets see where we end up.

Fife Wood Recycling will be creating indoor and outdoor furniture projects over the coming months and everything we do will be posted to here.

So if you see something when you are out and about, in the local garden centre, in Dobbies, Argos or the numerous summer catalogues, before you buy more mass produced junk, first take a picture and then send to us with dimensions of what you require, if possible and you will be surprised at what we can offer for the same price or what we can save you on that purchase.

Don't buy mass produced, help the environment buy buying sustainably which has the added benefit of allowing you to be individual and save a pretty penny or two whilst saving the planet at the same time.
