Fat Tank Studios

Fat Tank Studios is a recording and rehearsal studio in Manor House, North London, founded by musicians for musicians. We offer hourly morning rates, one off block bookings and residencies for bands looking to rehearse on a regular basis. Residencies include rehearsal time, storage, keys and a Fat Tank shoulder to cry on when the grind of the music industry gets too much. The kettle is always on.

REHEARSE
We pride ourselves on running long rehearsal sessions that allow bands to take full advantage of our soundproofed rooms. Each room is equipped with a 1000W Mackie PA and mixer with effects, 3 Sm58s, 3 K&M stands and any required backline free of charge.

Residency pricing:
12 sessions per month - £450
10 sessions per month - £400
8 sessions per month - £340
6 sessions per month - £275
4 sessions per month - £200

* All prices include private storage lockup with 24hr access, backline, parking and keys.

Sessions run 7 days a week -
Day session: 13:00-18:00 (5hrs)
Night session: 18:00-23:00 (5hrs)

Single sessions can also be booked at £50 per session.

PRACTICE - TEACH
Fat Tank also hire by the hour from 9am - 1pm. This is currently offered at a special rate of £5 per hour and includes backline access. Perfect for musicians and teachers looking for practice rooms!

RECORD
Fat Tank Studios also encompasses a fully equipped recording studio, centered around a Soundcraft 6000 console, Pro Tools 11, UAD powered plugins, outboard SSL preamps, Adam monitoring and an extensive mic cabinet including Neumanns, AKGs, Beyerdynamic, Audix, Sennheiser, Shure etc.

Day rate - £200 including house engineer.
