Factory Studios

A multi service music studio based in the South West of England. Services include high quality rehearsal space, a fully equipped recording studio, equipment hire, storage facilities and venue hire.

There are 11 studios including a 1500 square foot studio for pre-production which can also be used for showcases, photography, music videos, art installations, and events.

The studios are also available for location filming and previous clients include ITV, Running Bear Productions and the Discovery Channel.

The studio is housed in an 18th century mill building on a secure industrial estate on the edge of Bristol city centre. The building was originally converted into a studio during the early 1990’s when it was known as Channel House. In those days everyone from Portishead to Massive Attack recorded and rehearsed here. Years later, following a 5 year stint as the base for Roni Size and Full Cycle, Factory Studios took over in 2007

Day rate 10am – 6pm
Lock out 10am -11pm

Monday – Friday evenings are 4 hour slots from 7pm – 11pm only. All other times can be booked by the hour.

Equipment:
We have bass amps, guitar amps and drum kits. All decent quality, regularly serviced kit to save you the hassle of bringing yours along with you.
£5 for a drum kit, £3 for just the shells
£5 for an amp, £3 for just the cab

All mics, stands, leads are free to hire!

Students:
its only £20 for any 4 hrs between 10am and 6pm on weekdays or 50% off the total price on a weekend
