"I chose to learn with Exeter Driver Training as I was impressed by their ethic and approach to developing safe drivers. Kevin promptly returned my call and I found him to be very polite and helpful. He put me in contact with his business partner whose support I feel I would never have passed my test without.
Friendly, warm and approachable, Christie always greeted me with a smile and she very quickly made me feel at ease. At 32 I was perhaps more nervous about driving than I was as a teenager but Christies calm and positive nature made me feel comfortable and relaxed every lesson.
I was always treated as an individual with a personalised plan that Christie would update and discuss with me at the end of each lesson. She always asked where I felt I needed to build more experience and confidence alongside giving her professional opinion. We would then work on these areas with Christie offering me practical advice and guidance but allowing me enough freedom to develop my own confidence in becoming a safe, independent driver. She always discussed my strengths and commented on the things I was good at which I found encouraging and reassuring.
If there was something I was unsure about we would discuss this and Christie would adapt her teaching style to suit me as an individual, explaining things in a different way if necessary. I feel this is really important as not everyone learns the same and Christie shows genuine care for her students as a person.
I was allowed to progress at my own pace with Christie encouraging and guiding me to improve every lesson so it didn’t cost me more than was needed. The pricing is very competitive, fair and worth every penny. She was always reliable, never late and fit my lessons around my schedule.
I now feel like a confident, independent and most essentially safe driver, which is really important for me, especially being the mother of a young child.
I would recommend Exeter Driver Training to anyone that wants the highest level of teaching quality and customer service from a great local business that genuinely cares about its students as individuals. I couldn’t have hoped for a better instructor. I passed my test first time with only 2 minors because of her commitment and enthusiasm.
