Exeter Academy

Exeter Academy is a high-quality English language school for foreign adult students. We have outstanding teachers and we are in the top 5% in the UK, according to recent reports.

We are a small school with dedicated staff. Our teachers are friendly, very professional and they have many years of experience teaching in the UK and abroad.

Our school is in the small pretty city of Exeter, a vibrant university city with a great reputation for learning. Exeter is the capital of Devon, one of the most beautiful counties in England. It is a fantastic place to study English and explore the local area.

Exeter Academy organises trips every week so students can visit many different places in around Exeter and Devon. These trips include visits to local pubs, beautiful villages, national parks and our wonderful coast.

We can provide students with accommodation for the time they are with us studying at the school. Homestay families provide a warm, welcoming environment in which to relax and practise your English. They also provide 3 meals a day, 7 days a week which is included in the price.

We average 40-50 students at any time and these students come from all over the world, and their ages range from 18 to 70, so all age groups feel comfortable.

We have a selection of course options which make it possible to create the most suitable course for students’ individual needs, including group and one-to-one lessons and English for specific purposes. Our unique system of teaching is very popular with students and they often make excellent progress in their time here with us.
