Endurun24

Saturday 3rd May - Sunday 4th May 2014

EnduRun24 is a twenty four hour race following a 10k route through the grounds of High Gosforth Park.
Participants can choose to run individually or in groups of up to 8, with prizes available for each category.
Starting from 12 noon on Saturday, the 24 hour challenge will see you and your team set out to complete as many laps of the 10k track as possible until 12 noon Sunday.

The course will be based around a central base camp where participants can set up their tents for the duration of the event. This will be your place of retreat; to rest and recuperate as well as socialise as you soak up the atmosphere of the camp which includes entertainment and 24 hour food and beverage.
This event is designed for anyone from experienced ultra runners to those who want to just have a go and experience the atmosphere – just choose the size of your running group dependent on how much you would like to run – e.g. Go as an individual or a pair if you want to spend a lot of time on the track, or go in a group of 8 if you like the idea of the challenge, but would like a good break between runs.
If you just want to test the waters as a fun runner, then why not form a group of 24? You will do just one lap each over the 24 hours, but will help to provide support to all of the other runners whilst keeping the base camp in good spirits.
Free onsite facilities for registered participants include camping, toilets, showers, parking, entertainment and 24 hour catering.
