At Yoki Studio students get the opportunity to release their spine with the innovative Rope Wall, as well as regular floor work. There are various postures that can be practiced with the assistance of the ropes and the main benefit is traction of both the spine and the joints. In some poses this traction creates so much extension in the vertebrae that the head is noticeably closer to the floor afterwards. Classes are taken by Ellie Wilson who is an experienced teacher. Ellie takes her inspiration from the Iyengar yoga tradition, which is an alignment based style where postures are held.
