Elite Goalkeeper Academy

ELITE GOALKEEPER ACADEMY offers professional standard goalkeeper coaching to goalkeepers in the North East. Our aim is to dramatically improve the standard of goalkeeping which will one day see an Elite Goalkeeper Academy trained goalkeeper walk out in front of 1000's of people for their boyhood team.

We aim to do this through a number of different services:

- Grassroots Club Partnership: Join some of the largest and most forward thinking clubs in the region by inviting us along to work with your club goalkeepers on an agreed day and time to suit. Work through our Specialised 42 Week Goalkeeping Syllabus and see your goalkeepers all improve and grow together!

- Advanced Goalkeeper Training: Designed to give goalkeepers the Academy experience. Here the goalkeepers will work in a professional environment, taking part in exercises used across the country at Professional Clubs. We follow our Specialised 42 Week Goalkeeping Syllabus that includes pre-season and work to develop the goalkeeper physically week on week. Goalkeepers will also receive 6 week reviews which details areas for improvement and strengths in their game.

- Specialist One-on-One Coaching: One on One sessions are designed to give the goalkeeper a more in depth technical/tactical/psychological view of the game. We can tailor sessions to a goalkeepers specific needs or work through our Specialised 42 Week Goalkeeping Syllabus.

- School Holiday Camps: Ran over 2 days with goalkeepers in attendance for 5 hours per day. The Holiday Camps are not only fun but also teach young goalkeepers key goalkeeping techniques, social skills and in game play..

- Open Group Coaching: Don't want to train on your own? We also offer group coaching sessions around the North East. Train with your friends or even make new friends.These sessions teach the goalkeepers key techniques, offer a more competitve and enjoyable environment whilst the goalkeeper improves at an excelerated rate.

- 'Keeper Fit'- Improve speed, coordination, agility, strength and general fitness with our specialised and personalised fitness plans. We can provide session booklets that are customised to your very own resources and specifications. Choose from; gym sessions, intensive fitness sessions and goalkeeping drills that incorperate fitness or mix and match them as you please! We also offer advice and guidance via email throughout the duration of your course.

What to expect from Elite Goalkeeper Academy:

Coaching sessions are thoroughly structured and are created to cover all aspects of goalkeeping. Every session will begin with a correct warm up then advance into the coaching session covering the following aspects of goalkeeping:

- Handling

- Diving

- Footwork

- Positioning

- Distribution

The coaching sessions will be conducted by a goalkeeper with 15 years playing experience and also 5 years coaching experience including 6 months of coaching in the US for FC Seattle.
