Hello and welcome to Elgin Suppers!

I’m Laura and I worked for 40 years in the health service as a specialist nurse, and decided to turn to the great love of my life, cuisine! Growing up in Malaysia, I developed my great love of food helping my mother in our small family kitchen. During my working life I devoted lots of my spare time to continuing and improving my skills and developing my interest in different cuisines, especially Italian, French and Malaysian. In order to raise my skills to a higher level, I took up the challenge and successfully completed a full-time 9-month Cordon Bleu Grande Diplôme course in Cuisine and Patisserie at their London School in Bloomsbury Square.

Since completing the course 6 months ago I decided to develop my specialist interest and set up Elgin Suppers to share with food lovers all the great techniques I learned at Le Cordon Bleu and their love and respect for fine ingredients.

Besides French, I also cook my beautiful Malaysian home cuisine, with a focus on Chinese and Nonya dishes, Malaysian curries and street food. My fondness for Italy has also led me to exploring the less well-known dishes of Italian regions.

We can offer:
1. Supper clubs
- for up to 8 in central London
- 3 to 5 course dinners (with optional wine pairing)

2. Occasions
- Small, private or corporate parties (up to 25)
- Family events (birthday, anniversaries and celebrations)
- Special events (hen party, baby showers, graduations, engagements)

3. Private dining in your own home
