Electric Theatre Cinema

The Electric Theatre Cinema is all about engaging, affecting films – both showing them to our community and engendering the making of them.

We’re a not for profit community interest company, bringing community cinema and themed events to both our home base of Marsden and further afield.

We source and show interesting, independent films and encourage the creation of short films by showcasing new talent (watch this space for news about our first film festival).

We have separate family-orientated events too, so everyone can enjoy the kinds of films you may not see at the local multiplex. And we also host Food and Film nights: wonderful themed evenings that bring together a great mix of people to enjoy a three-course meal before watching the film itself.
