East Kent College is recognised as a Centre of Culinary Excellence - the proof of the pudding is the excellent relationship we continue to have with many of our highly successful ex-students, including of course celebrity chefs Gary Rhodes and Nathan Outlaw. We have fantastic facilities and industry links, and our further education students go on to work in the very best establishments, such as Buckingham Palace, the British Embassy in Paris and Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons in Oxfordshire.

The Hospitality industry offers great career choices and excellent rewards. It is made up of lots of different types of organisations including hotels and restaurants, fast-food outlets, coffee shops and pubs, bars and nightclubs. There are also lots of different roles, from Food-service Management, Front of House to Event Coordination, and other management jobs. You might even want to train as a Butler.
