John Grinder and Richard Bandler, the creators of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) studied and identified the language and strategies used by three great therapists, Fritz Perls, Virginia Satir and Milton Erickson. One of the things that they discovered was that there were just three main patterns of behaviour that could be found in successful communication:
To know what you want.
To be flexible enough to try different things to achieve it.
To have enough 'sensory acuity' to notice what is happening when it is.
So from these early roots the massive sprawling world of NLP was born
Richard Bandler describes NLP as " an attitude and a methodolgy, which leaves behind a trail of techniques"
From those attitudes, methodologies and techniques I have set up Educating Minds. A service which provides workshops, one-to-one sessions and coaching for children, teenagers and adults; all providing practical solutions and utilising the powerful communication skills used in NLP techniques for learning how to:
build confidence
develop self esteem
overcome fears and phobias
help improve learning strategies
learn new spelling strategies
focus and stay CALM when taking exams
communicate effectively
focus and stay CALM when communicating with your children
And Much More.......
