East 15 Acting School was founded by Margaret Walker in 1961 on the principles developed by Joan Littlewood's renowned Theatre Workshop. Since then East 15 has grown to be recognised as one of the industry's leading innovators, and one of Britain's top drama schools. The school has two main campuses, the original 'Hatfields' location set in parkland on the outskirts of London, and state of the art new facilities at Southend in conjunction with the University of Essex.
