Since we created Earth monkey, Many people have asked us questions like..

'What is an Earth Monkey?'

'How did Earth Monkey come to be?'

'Is Timbuctu a Real place?'

'Is there a deep and meaningful Ethos behind the concept combining organic earthly ideals with the modern necessity of social survival?'

'Do you like Marmite'

Some of these we may never be able to answer, or indeed understand but a story you shall have that may explain a little.

So here it is, a story seldom told but remembered by many. A moment in history, a time of joy.

In the Worlds before Monkey,
Primal chaos reigned,

Heaven sought order.
But the Phoenix can fly only when its feathers are grown.

The four worlds formed again and yet again,
As endless aeons wheeled and passed.
Time and the pure essences of Heaven,
The moistures of the Earth,
And the powers of the Sun and the Moon
All worked upon a certain rock - old as Creation,

And it magically became fertile.

That first egg was named Thought,

Tathagata Buddha, the Father Buddha,
Said,

'With our thoughts we make the world.'

Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch,
from it then came a stone Monkey.

The nature of Monkey was irrepressable!

Or.... it could be because everyone loves something of worth and something fun.
There is nothing of more worth than the Earth, and nothing more FUNKY than a MONKEY!!!

Which ever you prefer...(I prefer the first, which I may or may not have plagiarised the text from a childhood favourite TV show) The concise answer is we love the name...
