Ducklings Childminding

I have over 13 years experience of working in the Childcare/Education Sector. I want to provide that small home from home learning environment for children and their families. I feel my setting has a warm, friendly atmosphere, with a home from home routine and environment which means that the children can enjoy real-life learning experiences like cooking, gardening, and outings to the park and library and local community.
I live in a smoke-free house. I have purpose built large playroom downstairs that offers a real home from home environment where babies and children can feel safe and secure and have the confidence to develop their own identity and interests through a range of learning and play experiences. I have a large variety of toys, a reading area for snuggling in and reading books, a craft area for getting creative with arts and crafts and messy play, a play kitchen which is always popular for imaginative play, fancy dress and much more equipment that allows for indoor play.
Our garden, has recently been redesigned to become more child friendly and safe has plenty of room for children to run and stretch their legs as well as outdoor toys such as slide, swing, car, ball pit and tunnel, also has as a water wall, digging area, sand and water equipment. Providing children with the opportunities to be around nature and fresh air!

Once days and hours have been agreed, registration forms, permission forms and contracts will need to be signed. Settling-in sessions are offered before your child starts. These are free of charge.
